At Gracious Smiles, we are dedicated to the overall health and well-being of our patients as well as all the people who live in the communities we serve. If you have ever met or spoken to anyone on our team, you know that your dental and overall wellness is our #1 priority!
We have considered all the advisory announcements from government leaders as well as our state regulatory body, the Ohio State Dental Board. Upon their recommendations, we have decided to limit the services we offer at this time and will be available to see anyone–current friends of the practice and new friends we haven’t met yet—who may be experiencing a DENTAL EMERGENCY.
Gracious Smiles has always practiced the highest levels of infection control and used universal precautions as a matter of routine—that has not, and will not, change. However, COVID-19 is a little different and will require the additional precautions and extra steps we are taking to keep you safe. We are taking all necessary precautions and are following the CDC and ADA recommendations.
Please call 567.200.4045 before you come in to the office. It is important for us to know:
To limit possible exposure when you come to see us:
When I started the design and initial planning for the practice, I never wanted the reception area to be full of people waiting around—so you will rarely, if ever, see that happen at Gracious Smiles. We like to treat one patient at a time and give them the full, dedicated attention from us that they deserve, and that has not changed. (If you’re the parent of a child, of course you’re still welcome to sit in the office reception area.)
Due to current circumstances, we are looking into implementing the ability for virtual consults in the near future, so should you develop what you may think is a DENTAL EMERGENCY situation you may be able to get triaged virtually and advised on how to proceed. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to call us at 567.200.4045 for assistance. We are here to help in any way that we can!
Gracious Smiles is always accepting new patients (or—as we prefer to call them—friends of the practice). Again, give us a call at 567.200.4045 and we will reserve a future visit for you.
We know it may seem redundant, but this can’t be emphasized enough: please remember to wash your hands and keep your hands away from your face.
Lastly, here are some tips to boost your mood and health:
Meditate, pray, laugh, and keep smiling!
Give yourself a break from media and do something you haven’t done in a while that brings you joy!
Eat healthy and take good care of your teeth!
Enjoy the moments with loved ones and friends. Instead of looking at this situation from the perspective of what is being taken away, let’s think of what it is giving us instead. For many of us, that is time—time that we often groan about not having enough of.
Most importantly, please be kind to each other, and together we will emerge stronger on the other side of this.
Make every moment count!
